With AI tools becoming more sophisticated, there are may practical ways they can streamline our strategic work.   They save time in writing reports, and improve the way we implement projects and lead change.  AI is making our work easier, faster and more creative.

At the moment, I’m particularly following future trends in Agentic AI, risks of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), AI maturity, AI governance, AI and workflow, Custom Chatbots, and AI productivity.

The biggest problem that I see executives having with AI is that it is evolving so rapidly, that almost everyone feels left behind. The only way for us to truly keep up is to ingest yet more information (!) and experiment, which takes time.

Speed is critical. If you’ve been working with me or following Turbocharge Weekly, you know my emphasis on accelerated execution.  One of the things I enjoy doing is curating ideas for my clients to make things easier for them.  At a recent AI-enabled strategy execution bootcamp that I ran, one of the senior managers participating called it “a real eye-opener”. Love that.

Recently I’ve written about AI Strategy in Turbocharge Weekly. Today I’d like to hone in on personal productivity in our strategic projects.

Here are 3 practical ideas for you to use AI tools to support your personal strategy execution.

1. Test strategic ideas
Use AI to evaluate your plans by asking it to review a presentation outline or analyze a draft proposal. It can help highlight potential improvements or suggest alternative approaches. I like ChatGPT and Perplexity for this task best.

2. Support team motivation
AI can help you generate ideas for team communications, draft motivational emails, or even structure a speech. It’s a way to keep messages fresh and engaging while saving time. To draft Plain English, I like Claude AI best.

3. Build a Custom GPT for routine tasks
Develop a custom AI tool to handle recurring tasks like drafting a particular type of client reports. This can save you time while keeping your context and style intact.  For example, I have built a Custom GPT in ChatGPT for Turbocharge Weekly.  This is how I can generate images quickly, as it retains my special instructions and contextual information.

Execution speed is important. By using AI to augment your work, you will make routine tasks more efficient so you can focus on higher priorities.

Please forward this to someone else who would benefit from it.
