The holy grail of impressing your Board or CEO is delivering quick wins on your strategy: real, tangible results.

Acceleration attracts admiration.

You know this, yet you’re probably faced with hurdles everywhere. Mainly getting your team to appreciate the urgency. Getting people to agree to move forward. Getting tech in place.

As rapidly as possible.

And you’re already maxed out, doing as much as you can in a day. And you feel like you can’t push your people any harder.

So how can you get strategy results faster? How can you deliver those quick wins to demonstrate that you’re worthy of their faith in you?

Sadly, no matter how many past wins you’ve delivered, all of that is in the past. You need to keep coming up with the goods. Speed grabs attention.

The focus of The Turbochargers is to fast-track strategy execution to get to tangible value faster. Our tips are based on 50+ implementations, so you don’t have to learn the hard way.  Today, I’m sharing some of my tried-and-tested ways to get results faster for any of your strategies.

3 Tips to Get Strategy Results Faster

1. Initiate quick-win innovations
Create a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering quick-win innovations for your strategy. Seek out your high performers and innovators. Make it an honor to be involved.  Motivate them. Get them excited. Ask them to focus on identifying the low-hanging fruit: simple, impactful ideas.  High impact initiatives that can be completed quickly to build momentum. For example, in my business, we’ve been automating some routine tasks with Gen AI tools, delivering immediate value.

2. Accelerate a major existing initiative
Zero in on a key project already in progress. Inject fresh thinking by bringing in one of your top performers, unconnected to the project, to lead a focused problem-solving session. Strip the plan down to the essentials, cutting out optional steps, and focus solely on the critical path. Then, brainstorm ways to reduce the timeline by 90%. Could you buy instead of build? Use a short-term solution? Outsource a piece of the work?

3.  Reframe current efforts.
Your team is already delivering results in their business-as-usual tasks. Highlight the strategic significance of their work. Reframe these efforts to showcase how they directly contribute to your broader strategic goals. Allow them to report on these at the highest levels to increase their profile and receive the motivational kudos directly. This helps you amplify their efforts.

By focusing on these three steps, you can build momentum and achieve rapid results that prove your value as a leader. And if you find this useful in your work, let me know how you’ve applied these ideas.  I love getting emails from readers, and answer every one.

Please forward this to someone else who would benefit from it.
